I open my mouth
To let my soul out
I sing from my gut
And you feel my voice
Pouring down like a golden cloud
Stretching forth to reach you
Can you hear me?
Can you hear my heart pulsing out the beat?
Can you feel my words envelope your body?
Encasing you in a golden down of sound
Invigorating you down to your bones
So real and alive, you can touch the ebb and flow
I give you my mind, I give you my heart
My song, my love
Might tear you apart
It may break open your shell
Tear out your core
You’ll float alongside me
And we’ll get twined together
Lost in the music
Here's the next one:
A lucky chance drew you to me
We talk all the time, so casually
Sharing our past, revealing our sins
I thought we connected, why won’t you let me in?
Tell me what you feel, show me you care
Why do you turn away when I can’t help but stare?
You like me I can feel it, you’ve confessed before,
I’m so drawn to you; your presence shakes me down to the core
You say you’re not happy and you want to go home,
But all I hear is that you’re leaving me alone
I don’t know what to do, are you running away?
And if that’s the case, why aren’t I enough to make you stay?[/
