Honestly though; I've always loved fantasy over sci-fi. I would hazard a guess that Star Wars has gained more popularity and revenue, but I couldn't say for sure. They both have fairly awesome fan bases.

Yeah, Star Wars is coming out in 3D now. What do you guys think about that? I'm excited to see them in theaters.

I see it as just the opposite Post Conversion 3D is what's ruining cinema.

Agreeing with you though, Wolfen. Anti-piracy has gone too far so now they have to make everything 3D. Not 'cause it's cool, sucks for us people with glasses.

I think piracy has little to do with it considering they release the movie in 2D at the same time. Also... post conversion 3D is really cheap to do. Then you can charge 3 extra bucks for a ticket and pad your box office results.
